CEC’s 2024 Board of Directors Election

Dear Fellow CEC Member,

Voting is not just a right—it’s a responsibility. Your vote gives you the power to help shape the future of CEC and influence how we continue to support and uplift the education community. By participating in this election, you’re making sure your voice is heard and contributing to meaningful change.

Each vote counts, and by casting yours, you have the opportunity to select candidates who bring fresh perspectives and diverse experiences to the Board of Directors. These leaders will help guide CEC in fulfilling its mission and advancing the goals of the Strategic Plan. 

CEC’s strength comes from dedicated members like you who take action to ensure that we remain a strong advocate and support system for educators and students alike.

How to Vote

The election to fill up to four positions on the Board of Directors will close at 11:59 pm ET, October 30th.  You will be able to rank all candidates. Elected members will serve one four-year term, beginning January 1, 2025.

Paper ballots will be mailed in early October to members without an email address on file. All members with an email on file as of October 1, 2024, will be sent an email via SurveyMonkey with a unique link to vote. If you do not receive an email before Oct. 14, please check your spam folder.

A downloadable ballot will be posted on this page once the election opens.
